All American Ford of Hackensack, New Jersey, proved truckbed liners aren’t just for truckbeds. This dealership sprayed a new 2014 F-150 FX4 exterior entirely with SEM’s #1 selling truckbed liner, Rock-It Liner™. The result is an impressive, rugged look that catches attention across the showroom. 

How It’s Done

The painter curtained off an area to protect other jobs from overspray. He removed handles, mirrors, and all other trim work before spraying. The painter used Tintable Rock-It Liner to match the original gray of the truck as well as add the yellow accents. While spraying, the painter made sure to apply Rock-It Liner lightly and allowed enough flash time in between coats. 

Proper Prep

All American Ford has its own body shop with a painter designated for spraying truckbed liners. Before tackling the new F-150, the painter viewed SEM’s Rock-It Liner video and thoroughly read the Technical Data Sheet. Then, he practiced spraying Rock-It Liner with SEM’s 71109 Premium Undercoat Gun on old car parts.
