Scranton Vision

In the mid-1980s, company owners Don and Marilyn Scranton sold a portion of the company to their employees. Their vision was to take care of their employees so that their employees would take care of the company. This act transformed the culture of SEM.

WELLNESS & FUN

SEM has two teams dedicated to the wellness and fun of our employees. Wellness benefits include an in-house exercise facility, annual wellness fair, and personalized health screenings, including a confidential review with a medical professional.

The Fun Team organizes company outings, SEM family picnics, mile-stone celebrations, and holiday parties throughout the year, including our annual chili cook-off. “Work hard, play hard” is a motto we all live by.
