To help in this area, SEM is offering the COLOR HORIZONS NEW IDENTITY GUARANTEE, the industry’s only warranty on custom finishes!
To give the painter’s and the custom shops more flexibility, we are offering two tiers of protection for paint applications that have been completed start to finish with COLOR HORIZONS products.
Both options cover COLOR HORIZONS products against the following defects:
• Peeling of any layer from the substrate
• Cracking
• Hazing, chalking, fading or extensive loss of gloss
COLOR HORIZONS SELECT WARRANTY
Covers the material cost for any COLOR HORIZONS product used for 3 years from the date of application.
COLOR HORIZONS PREMIER WARRANTY
If the qualified painter has completed the COLOR HORIZONS ICAR Custom Finish Shop Certification, SEM will cover the material cost and reasonable labor charges associated with the application for the lifetime of the vehicle.
Conditions of warranties:
• All refinish work must have COLOR HORIZONS primer, basecoat and clear to qualify. Any use of other brands will void the agreement.
• Painter must submit all part numbers and batch codes used before claim will be processed.
• COLOR HORIZONS failures due to pre-existing conditions, improper body work, rust, etc., are not covered.
• Failures due to outside influences, such as non automotive waxes and cleaners or environmental effects are not covered.
• Stone chips, scratches and other abrasions are not covered.
